Julie Walraven delights clients with resumes that capture the essence of who they are and what they offer a prospective employer. You choose how you work with Julie and Design Resumes, either face-to-face or virtually via telephone, Skype, and e-mail. Face-to-face appointment: Create your resume in our Central Wisconsin office. Even if you live across the country, if you want to combine your appointment with a mini-vacation, to ski at Granite Peak, kayak at Wausau Whitewater, enjoy a performance at the Performing Arts, or visit Birds in Art or another fascinating display at Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, we can make it happen. Our lodging partners would love to provide you with great accommodations. And of course, face-to-face clients get to meet the now world-famous Teddy, also known as @TeddyGermanShep on Twitter!
During the appointment, Julie will show you our sample book filled with real clients who have given permission to share their resumes in our office setting. She will then discuss which strategy works best for you and you will collaborate with her to pinpoint accomplishments and focus on your career goals.
Appointment Scheduling: Appointments accommodate your schedule during normal business hours (8am to 5pm) as well as occassional evenings or Saturday hours. Design Resumes is closed on Sundays.
Virtual resume experience: If you would like to remain in your location, Julie works virtually to create the same high quality, excellent resume and provide the same career management services. You save transportation costs and can continue your normal lifestyle. We collaborate using interview-based information gathering and worksheets to find all the meaty accomplishments that you need to focus on to wow your next employer. Each level has a Resume Only option. We recommend a cover letter for every client but if your goal is the resume only project, we will assume that you are creating your own cover letters.

Just A Basic Resume You are a student in college looking for an internship or a recent graduate seeking to land your first position after college or you just need your first basic resume.

Client Agreement: To begin services, download MS Word or Adobe PDF versions of client agreement. Payment Options:Design Resumes accepts debit and credit card payments. Face-to-Face Clients are welcome to pay with cash or checks also. Payment is expected when project is started. We will develop your profile and help you understand the benefits and methods of effectively using the LinkedIn Network. - hourly rate.

Resume Refocus - You have more than one target for your resume. If the second focus is in the same field and will use components of the original resume, (such as Project Manager vs. Manufacturing Engineer) additional resumes are $100 each. If you are targeting two diverse areas, (such as Truck Driver vs. Corrections Officer), each situation will be evaluated individually.
Rush Order – Add $75 to any order.
Hourly Billing Rate - $100 with 15 minute increments.
Resume Refresh for Existing Clients - If we wrote your original resume within the last 3 years and you need to update it to include another job, change contact information, or add value - hourly rate
Stand alone cover letter for existing clients - if we have written your resume and you would rather we managed your cover letter submissions - $45 for one cover letter or hourly rate for multiple cover letters.
